I messed up last night and stayed up to late and overslept this morning and couldn't workout. Now I have to do it tonight but I hate going to the gym after work, it is too crowded for me so I will do half of my workout at home then the other half tomorrow morning and then do tomorrow's workout on Saturday which I hate because I like to be off on the weekend but that's life.
-38 minutes on elliptical(on the lower side of what i usually do). according to the calorie counter, i burned 906 cals but that's probably wrong
-20 minutes of bi's, tri's, and peppered in some abs
When I have done weight, I've done sets of 8-20. I physically couldn't handle doing a set of 5 since my arms either get weak or shaky. Probably because I'm a female
That's too many reps. It's better to lift heavier weights for fewer reps. What's the point in benching weight that you can rep 20 times? It's too light.

You can curl 65 pounds but can only do 50 push-ups before failure?
Let me clarify. I can do around 100 or so, provided I momentarily rest for a few seconds periodically by either arching my back or sagging in the middle. My feet and hands never leave the ground and I never rest on my knees. I am basically doing them "army" style to maintain and improve myself for the physical training test. Going all the way down until my upper arms are at least parallel to the ground and locking out all the way up. For my normal daily routine I shoot for 50+, doing full and complete pushups with no rest whatsoever until I literally can't push myself back up due to muscle failure. So I actually end up doing around 55-60.

That sounds unbelievably high. It's over 1400 calories an hour. What kind of settings did you have? What was your heart rate?
