"unconditional slaves to styles when we don't even know why" those would be the ppl still 'stuck in High School'. When i picture men not wearing socks i picture those stuck up college boys that go yachting and make fun of people that dont make over $100k a year.
I wear what I want and what makes me comfortable. If you don't like it, tough. I could care less (but I can't, really) about what you think of my fashion sense.
I cant picture a tube sock NOT pushed down (or at least folded down). Nobody has worn tube socks pulled up since the 70s
My point was that, IMO, pushed down tube socks would look very bad with shorts. If you are playing certain sports, pulled up socks look fine. E.g. The black crew socks (low-shin) with hightops that the Chicago Bulls wear (this is also very popular with the inner city kids who know fashion).
The word "tube sock" also sounds gross to me. Is that the same as a "crew sock" or is it different? I thought "tube socks" were those really tall socks (almost to the knees) with stripes at the top from the 70's. If they were pushed down, wouldn't your ankles look obese?
Oh Good Grief!!! It really doesn't matter. Understand? Whether or not a person looks good depends on the stupidity of the viewer.
If you are really concerned about whether or not your socks are just right, go barefoot.
