This attractive, feminine, grad educated woman at work, who then took off to raise a child, was wearing a blouse one day as part of her maternity garb. I would talk to her quite a bit. Once, she got up to get out of her chair, and I saw the back of her blouse separate from her pants, showing what was obviously part of a big "sun" tattoo on her lower back. I thought it was NOT attractive and I couldn't have pictured her sitting in some parlor with tattoo needles or pens going.
Yeah, a lot of guys are going "ewwww" "why did you do that to yourself". You're not alone out there. The bigger the better, right ladies?

I don't really worry about those people, especially the guys. If it's not my hair color, height, weight, breast size, skin color etc. it's going to be something else to dislike.
I like my tattoos, and I didn't get them to please society or anyone else, I got them because *I* like them.

That's fine. And there are plenty of guys who dig 'em. It's good that you don't worry what other's opinions are anyway.
I think they are sort of revealing psychologically.
There are people smart enough to know that they might look bad in the future and just shrug and say oh well (before laser was an option) I'll deal with that then. Others have the same thought but opt not to do it. I think that's sort of a significant trait.
Then there is the trait of public self-expression vs. not
And those that get the feeling of joining a tribe, the inked
I don't think they're psychologically revealing. Some people just like ink. Others do it to fit in with certain groups and identify themselves to other members of those groups (gangs.)
People often confuse the two and think that only criminals and trash get tattoos, which is ridiculous.
Me either....I think they are quite ugly. I have not seen a nice one yet.
Really? Wow... I've seen some tattoos that could rival the best watercolor and oil artists out there. I've seen tattoos that when all extraneous parts are taken out (i.e. just the tattoo itself) it looks like a painting that could be in a gallery.
If you want a few websites that show some incredible tattoo art, I'd be more than happy to PM them to you.
