Nope. I love my wife's tattoos. I don't think any tat on a woman makes them look butch. I think some make you look trashy depends on what and where you get them.

The thought of how they are going to look when you get old and the skin starts to sag, not a pretty sight.

Apparently nobody lives in the present here.

What, just because we avoid messing up one part of our future (however insignificant)?

How is it messing up ones future? My tattoos haven't hindered me much so far.

Take a look at what the person I was replying to, was replying to. Granted, some people may not care about what their tattoos will look like when they're older, but it's still a negative.

Not wanting something else on your body that's just going to keep getting uglier is not the same as "not living in the present", was my point.

The future does not exist. We live in an eternal now moment.

I don't live my life like a hypothetical old person I will never live to become.

If that works for yall though, be my guest...

I still think you're exaggerating a bit. This is but one decision (not getting a tattoo) in consideration of what it will look like when a person gets older. Not getting one is hardly going to rob you of some magical experience or quality of life. Some of the most exciting, fun-loving people I know have absolutely zero tattoos. And some of them have plans for their future as well, suggesting that you can "live in" the present and future both. Here's something that'll blow your mind: I live in the past, present, AND future everyday. It's not all that hard.

All this back and forth is silly. If you like tattoos, get one. If you don't, don't get one. Seems pretty simple.
