Husband was not much of a sweater wearer, but he did look good in pastel shirts. Pink, not so much, but melon and lavender he looked good in. He usually wore an Oxford pastel shirt with a darker over shirt or jacket.
DH looks best in high contrast colors. He would never choose pastels for himself. I like him best in navy blue. I discourage him from wearing brown, but sometimes he likes what he likes.
If a guy likes pastel colors, he should feel free to wear what he likes, IMO.
DH almost never wear sweaters. He might put one on during a vicious cold spell.
Well, I guess this is one instance where being female is a blessing. We can wear any colors we want without worrying what others might think. And "men's" clothes, like pants, too.
I don’t wear pastel sweaters, but I also don’t think there is anything wrong with them in general. They just aren’t the style I prefer and I don’t feel like they look good on me. But, to each their own!
I think I have light blue and tan. I rarely wear any sweaters.
