I believe this is also in school right? Unless a teacher catches you and tells you to pull up your pants??... I do think it does get out of hand.

Yes, it's very much out of style now here too, I never see it anymore and I've got kids in college and high school. I guess some areas just haven't caught up with the times yet.

You just answered your own thread that is the point they are making like the Gothic phase of the 90's and the punk rock fashion of the 80's

I'd love to hear from those who DO wear them. I'd also like to hear from the Gals... do they like it, don't they? In a way some areas may have passed through this phase, but around here, I still see many. All Opinions on this subject are still welcome.

Years ago, when it first started someone said it was because when you are in prison, you have to wear wheat they give you and they don't always have the right size, that it is a prison thing that carried over into the general population on the street.

My brother, a policeman, thinks it is neat, makes them easier to catch since they sometimes trip over their own pants.

I strongly resent having to look at someone elses underwear and butt cracks, I don't care what kind of statement they are trying to make about themselves.. Our town has passed a law against it so we don't see it as much as we use to...

Another thing that annoys me is the men with pot bellies that have to wear their pants below their big belly so when they bend over or squat down you get a good view of their butt crack!

It seems many towns are doing this. Thanks for your input.

It seems like a workout to keep the pants up. Women sometimes have undergarments showing too. I used to work at a salon where many of the girls would wear pant that were so low and tight you could see a thong. One extreme or the other. Too big or too tight. Neither do I like.
