Should the government force me to go to bed and monitor my french fry intake as well?
I assure you I am as Conservative as its gets lower taxes and right six Gov. Property and a solid gun laws that do not restrict the law abiding Citizen (Like AZ outstanding laws or lack of them)

We are not talking about the food police!.

If it passes will see how many of you grow to be vegetables and have some nurse push you around in a wheel chair.

The expansion of the use of marijuana is a disaster for many reasons

Evironmental disaster,

The wholesale destruction and pollution of land through grow operations.. switching one narco terrorist for another.. and where there is money,, there will be crime.. and the mexican cartels dont give a patootie if its legal or not.. legalization would just make iit easier for them

Social disaster,,,

Addiction clinics... children with permanent brain development issues, pits neighbor against neighbor for rude obnoxious behavior, welfare recipients demanding the use of their "benefits" to buy it... excerbating the problem because then there is little incentive to work, DUI greatly expanding.. no good field sobriety test yet
A "dumber" population...
Lawsuits and problems for cities who try to have some control over it because by its very nature people who use drugs will not self regulate their behavior
Crime has skyrocketed,, drug rips,, lowlifes in neigborhoods... declination of property value
Problems for landlords who if they rent to a grower, get their property destroyed and potentially condemned as hazardous by the building department
Huge use of power resources.. most estimates that even small indoor grow operations use SIX times the amount of power as that of a normal 4 person family

Medical disaster.. the numerous little illnesses now springing up,, chronic cough, lost work.. short term paranoia... and the thousand other yet to be indentified illnesses from taking something that has increased potency from 3 percent thc to 35 percent thc in a short period

MORE drugs in the world for people to self anesthetize themsleves from any semblance of reality?

No thanks

Thank you for commenting. I am not only who thinks there is a problem with yet anther addictive and dumbing down America.

Very well wrote. Its amazing how the few is trying to get by the sleeping American public. For most of the working adults who have fam and job to contend with smoking weed is not even on the table for every day life.

Thank you again for a realist view and not the feel good folks of the left and those fake conservative of moderate folks. Freedom comes with responsibility to the present and future.

PS we are not talking about seriously ill folks either!

Country is spending billions trying to eliminate tobacco use along with providing medical care for the millions who were addicted to it (lung ca, heart disease). Then we also have alcohol problems to deal with. Now we want to bring another toxin into our society - a psychoactive drug that stays in one's blood stream for awhile inflicting workplace hazards on the people who use it and their workmates; no thanks.

Hey, you don't have to smoke it if you don't want to. Nobody cares. So quit trying to tell other people how to live their lives. It's about personal freedom. I for one am sick of America turning into a bigger nanny state year after year.

A majority of Florida voters and many city ordinances has banned smoking tobacco in many places but now a majority of voters want to legalize smoking marijuana. Confused voters??????????
