In other words you have no credibility.
Im married have2 kids and don't even talk to my husbands parents. At one time i did complain about them paying his bills because he was living on his own and doesn't come from a wealthy family.they never once paid for my rent. I always paid for my own. I also wasn't complaining about my property taxes I was complaining about my parents...so thanks jack ass. I have saved over $2500 living back here for sick months. We moved away for the cheapness and because of jackasses like you

This is just too easy. So did you pay $4500 in property tax or pay $1000 for an apartment?

Winter months its around $100-150.00

I asked my mother what her cable bill was in Rochester she said 115.00 thats for 7 tvs, 2 dvrs and hd. Her electric bill for our 2000 sqf house is 60.00 a month (winter its 80.00) . Where as my 803sqf apartment is 130.00 in summer and 95.00 in winter. When I was on her car insurance it was 80.00 a month now by myself in florida it is 130.00 (mind you i have no tickets, and one accident which was his fault)

People just like to complain, both transplants and native Floridians. People from the northeast will come down here in December and think "Great, no winter!" and then they move down here. They don't think there is a flip side. It makes no sense but some people are that way. And I will also often hear my co-workers, native Floridians, complain about heat and humidity in the summer. Then in the wintertime when the temperatures drop to the 50s for a day or two they complain about how cold it is. Nevermind that they are wearing a short sleeve shirt and/or flip flops. A day or two later it's in the 70s, then another day in the 50s and they complain how its STILL cold. I pay no attention to it anymore, just nod my head in agreement and go about my business.

LOL!!! This thread is the best yet!!!! Wow, it's just going on and on... FL has it's great things, then so NE does too. I am just making the best of it, even probably being the biggest FL summer hater here! I am learning being miserable all the time, not worth it, life is way too short. I am NOT FL HATER, summer heat hater, yes. BUT! We are Going to the beach tomorrow.... Wings at a great burger joint at Fort Myers Beach, and play in the waves for a while.

There are no personal attacks allowed on CD (or so I've been told)

Speaking of personal attacks, those who have been following the murder trial are watching people in Orlando fist fighting to get into the courthouse. I was watching the news tonight and yelling at the TV (yes, I do that) "get a life, you idiots!" There were women with small babies camping out overnight just to get a seat. I don't get it. Anyway, this doesn't paint a very positive picture of Florida residents.

It depends on what people like. I personally hate Miami and Florida with a passion because it has none of the things I personally love and enjoy. As far as winter's they are still hot to me and sleeveless shirts is fine by me. I DON"T think I've ever been cold down here. Then again I live with my AC cranked down and two fans and I still get hot at night. LOL.

I just can't leave because I can't leave my mom alone for various reasons but all my life I've wanted to live somewhere else where there were things that I love/ am interested in.

Gotta laugh at them....but remember they are not all Florida residents. There are people flying in from across the country to try to get one of those seats. They have interviewed some of them that came from Europe, too.

As of yesterday now they have to sign up at 4PM the day before and then come back the next day -no camping out in line.
