Given the fact that Florida has the 2nd oldest population in the USA (to Maine), that is an astounding result for our great Governor.

New York is the deadliest state, and Cuomo and DeBlasio failed miserably. Connecticut and Massachusetts also failed, as did Illinois.

Open this link, scroll down to the chart, then sort the Deaths per Million population column to see the rankings:

New Jersey
New York
Conecticut
Massachusetts
Rhode Island

These states make up 5 of the top 6 deadliest states in America.

Scroll way down to find Florida at #21, below the national average depicted in the light gray horizontal band.

DeSantis did an amazing job keeping our elderly as safe as possible in Nursing Homes, the opposite of what was done by New York's Governor Cuomo where he purposely & forcefully housed C-19 infected patients alongside healthy Nursing Homes residents....until C-19 spread to them too....by the Thousands. Cuomo should have been removed from office for dereliction of duty, and failure to uphld his oath of office.

Instead, he released a best seller book on his outstanding COVID19 leadership. Lol.

Just when you thought liberals were already brain dead... They tend to find new levels of stupidity that lower the bar even further.

Dead people don't use up state resources. They create trauma to families, but they also don't carry with them a financial burden, or the need for caretakers, nurses, doctors, hospital beds, at the expense of whoever else needs the same things and can't get them because the bed is currently occupied.

SICK people, however, bring with them a financial burden, time, energy, medicine, hospital beds, the resources of caretakers, oxygen and machines to keep a person alive...

and then after the virus itself passes, there are the repercussions that many of these people will bring with them for the rest of their lives: permanent lung and heart damage, reduced quality of life, leading to an early death after the fact.

The people who live are the ones who should matter the MOST. The dead are at peace.

So the dead don't count?

Got it.

It astounds me that people are so moronic to think these two are doing a good job. They've both single handedly destroyed NYC. It will take it a decade to get back where it was.

I have to laugh at New Yorkers that slam DeSantis then move their families down here.

New York, New Jersey, Mass, Conn, & R.I. car tags abound down here in FLA right now.

They are like rats off a sinking ship...a few are Northeastern Pubs who cannot tolerate it anymore too though, so they fleet as well.

The Washington Post has a headline today slamming DeSantis that says even Floridians hate him. I laughed out loud. 1000 a day are moving here from the NE.

I literally do not know a single person who doesn't think he is doing a great job.

I give thanks practically everyday to the fates above for our great governor. The ones who hate him either are easily manipulated by the propaganda reported by our corrupt media, or are still suffering a hangover from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Still no vaccine cure for that.

Best Governor since Bob Graham. The faux outrage by WaPo is because he supported the president.
