My solar system on my current house is right around 11.5 kW….. once I get down there can research it more.

Without the roofing issues and insurance, solar makes a ton of sense for FL. If you have net metering most homes the ROI is there. Obviously many factors come into play if you have space on the roof.

As for looks, my house is grey with black shingles. My array covers almost the entire roof on front of my house. After a couple days you don’t even think about it.

What I enjoy is seeing a negative amount due each month on my bill.
