Default Highlands co to Sanford area

I was class of 82 . how long did you live in this area I guess if you lived in this area you know the economics is a problem here. So What area are you living in now. Its a little scary moving to an area unknow one doesnt want to wind up buying a home in a high crime area and wind up losing on there home investment. So Im really trying to do lots of research on those areas but nothing is as good as personal experiance and knowledge from someone who lives there.

I live in Oviedo... Sanford is starting to look nice. They are doing alot of renovations of the old town area. We go to Sanford to put our boat in at Lake Monroe... The shopping by the mall is really nice and there are alot of great places to eat. Access to the Greenway (417) as well as I-4. I would recommend it to someone without teens though. Oviedo and Winter Springs would be better if you have kids.
