Uhh, I wouldn't want to swim in Florida in the winter when the water temp is anywhere from 55-63.

You really have to find an extra curricular activity to devote your time to.

LOL - "have I told you lately that I love you" LOL - Uggh, we could go on for days with her, I'm done responding to the rediculous posts, especially when she can't answer the ones that ones that make sense of all of the nonsensical jibberish posted!

Its funny because when I was a kid and we vacationed here during winter breaks and we always swam in the water in Florida. Now that I live here my blood has thinned out so much I can't go in it unless its 82 degrees.

Is the thread hi-jack completed? I'd be interested in reading REAL responses to this thread, not the same old "I hate Florida and I'm pooping in your thread" stuff.

I'd never leave Florida, while there are things about the Baltimore / Washington area where I used to call home that I enjoyed....There is much more here in Florida that I'd hate not having in my life.

In Maryland there are too many cloudy days. I seemed to spend half my life stopped on 495. While the one to two weeks of autumn color are beautiful, 6 months of no leaves on trees is depressing.

Where I live in Florida I never even think about crime against me or my wife. When I went out in DC or Baltimore, I always kept my head on a swivel, and my hand on my keys and a roll of quarters. My Grandmother always had a hat pin in her hand, and twice bent a hat pin on the leg bone of a purse snatcher.

I spent months on allergy meds in Maryland, here I'm allergy free.

The beach is an easy walk from my house, fishing is good most days, the wild life is all around, the boat launches are free, I grow orchids in my backyard. Why leave?

Coventry - I'm right there with you, but to no avail it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's boring now. ENOUGH with the Florida is the worst place to be crap. Sorry, I'm getting a bit territorial and I don't even live there yet.
