Well no one "earned" their dish ...so I made this simple chicken and rice dish...this is just the base recipe I actually added a lot more to it to make it more flavorful.
Lisa - do you just wrap the shrimp in bacon and broil in the oven on high?
Sorry Kat...I've been busy
I buy frozen raw shrimp. Thaw them out. Pre cook the bacon just a little..cut each piece in half...trying to save calories, lol. Wrap the bacon around the shrimp and secure with a toothpick. Place them on an oven proof tray and pour a little BBQ sauce on top. Broil about 4 min....turn over, add more sauce and broil till done. It's easy and hubby loves it. In the sumer I do skewers on the grill.
Tonight DH had plain chicken cutlets and I had chicken Parmesan.
BTW, after the whole winter I posted on my Off Grid story. Hope I can tell you that
I made a lot of changes to that recipe...on the bottom you can see reviews...click on the "see all reviews" option..then "most helpful" option ....I sauteed the chicken first in a little butter and olive oil with some garlic, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning...then when I put the rice in I add more of all..and I used extra soup too. The family liked it a lot.
Left over tortelini and homecooked Parmesan chicken. Sorry, not very exciting, but there you go.
