Not feeling too well - last night just had pork chops, nothing else.

Today I hope to make something like chicken tortilla soup if I'm up to it.

A buffet - lots of tempting treats, will try to be good. But not too good...

Hope you feel better soon Debsi!

Yesterday made a big pot of bolognese sauce for spaghetti and a pot of chili to warm up today. Doesn't chili just taste better warmed up? Plus no cooking to day just baking. Oh I'll make a bowl of salad anybody can munch on whenever.

Happy Sunday foodies~

Ah girl, I'm sorry. It's wicked bad whatever it is going around. Take it easy.

DH is making his usual Sunday night fare: stewed beef over either rice or potatoes.

Aw, Debsi, sorry to hear that you're feeling under the weather. I hope that you're able to make your soup -- because you feel up to it and/or because it'll make you feel better.

Tonight's dinner: We got a deal (at least it sounded like one) of a big whoppin' 2-lb bag of fresh mussels @ $3.99/bag. I'm going to steam them (this is the first time I've ever cooked FRESH mussels, rather than frozen ones), and serve them over linguine (mixed with some EVOO, garlic, and a pinch of red pepper flakes).
