No clue. I just got home from running errands and bring dad home from the hospital. I feel like I was gone a week!
It's freaking hot out there. With each stop I made, by the time I got back to the vehicle, it was hot as hadies again, and didn't finish cooling by the time I got to the next stop.
I just want to jump in a tub of FROZEN RUM RUNNERS and forget my cares and woes in more ways than one! It's so good to be home!
DS is home from Iraq for 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tonight was his choice of cubed steak and pan gravy, mashed potatoes, corn, butterbeans, crowder peas, cornbread, sweet tea. I have also been pleasantly informed that since he has to go back to Iraq (BOO!), and can't be here for Thanksgiving or Christmas, I will be making turkey and dressing and all the trimmings, and also a baked ham and all the trimmings. Y'all know I don't mind! He is taller and 15 lbs thinner! He didn't have 15 lbs to lose! All muscle and sinew. I going to try my best to put some fat on those bones before he goes back to the desert!
Oh, I know how you feel! I know you don't mind cooking for him at all. My DS just got back from Afghanistan, but thankfully, will be home for the holidays for the first time in several years.
My son is tall and skinny too. Love to feed that boy.
Well the weather is a bit nasty so that changes things. I suggested we just do local pizza and got it approved. Wife just got here so I got to straighten up and fly right now.
