Busy day sanding and painting gutters. Too tired to cook. Took some frozen pizza out of the freezer, added a few things, it's in the oven now. Glass of red. Easy peasy and it hits the spot.

We didn't go for Thai last night, as I posted.
We went to a pub that features 6 million different beers (I may be exaggerating a bit, but not by much... but, hey, I don't drink, so it just seemed like an excessive number of choices. I chose Diet Coke. )
They have a very small menu, one that always changes, and features organic, naturally grown food. Not typically my thing, really, but we're new here and stumbled upon this place when we realized that our planned Thai meal wasn't happening.
We shared mac 'n cheese (OMG, it was outstanding -- there was cheddar, bleu cheese, and two other cheese... topped with croutons that soaked up the cheesey sauce) and a pizza with roasted chicken and squash on it (delicious).
It was a tough little menu for my husband -- he doesn't eat red meat and, for a tiny menu, there was a lot of pork happening. Anyway, at least he had a lot of beer options.
DH is making some country style ribs. He usually cooked them in my dutch oven for half of the day and adds red potatoes and veggies to the mix but I'm not sure if that is his plan yet--we'll see.
Turkey is in the oven, dressing is ready to bake, corn casserole is ready to bake, giblets chopped and waiting, going to get the speckled butterbeans and green beans going after a while.

Yesterday it was hamburgers topped with Swiss cheese. Too hot, too tired, too busy for anything else but I just had to eat. I was ravenous. Sometimes I wish there was some kind of food concentrate pill one could take on the busy days - hubby's hungry - tell him to take a pill!
Today a BBQ at my sister's place. No doubt the last of the season. Personally I'd rather just sleep the day away, but she's my sister. Can't do that.
