Baked b/s chicken thighs--sprinkled with ground ginger, garlic powder, s+p, and then basted with bbq sauce.

Oven roasted fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, and cauliflower all tossed in olive oil, s+p, and some rosemary.

Steamed broccoli

Frozen apricot cups for dessert (for me)...vanilla bean ice cream for hubby.

Grilled cheese and ham sandwiches with lettuce and tomato, sidelined with pickles and potato chips.

The last of my Marie Callender's frozen dinners, which is meat loaf with gravy and creamy mashed potatoes and a side of mixed vegetables.

Yesterday I gave my guests a choice of getting Chinese takeout, or hamburgers and homemade fries - they picked the burgers and fries. Today I made BBQed side ribs and basmati rice. It was very hot and humid. I didn't feel like cooking either day, to be honest.

Last night we had baked herb chicken breast, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and sliced tomatoes. Tonight will be cube steaks with gravy, mashed potatoes, honey glazed carrots, sliced cucumbers and sliced tomatoes.
