Was Bosco just a NE thing? I remember it too. Also coffee milk. We had a syrup that made our milk taste like sweet coffee.

crazyworld-Bosco still on the menu at your house ?

gentlearts-Not sure of Bosco's distribution, the company's in Towaco NJ. We used to get Coffee Time syrup, doesn't appear to have survived

Lacey-I loved Ovaltine when I was a kid, used to eat spoonfuls right out of the jar. I tried a jar a few years ago, I don't know if the big change was the Ovaltine or me but it wasn't the same.

Ovaltine!!!! Yum................( My DH had a dog (a pug) named Bosco!)
Morning all..not sure what's for dinner ( the diet issue for the boys makes me think maybe stuffed cabbage rolls) I keep wanting to bake cookies or brownies but it would be unfair to the dieters in our house!!! Spent almost all of yesterday figuring out how to rehook up the home theater system to the new flat screen we brought home( early christmas for us!) What a nightmare!!! Miles of wire....what a mess. If you ever have a problem with a Bose system, the tech people there are fantastic. They were so patient with me. By the third call all was the way it should be. But I was stressed and tired! Technology moves alot faster than I do. Nomad..I also can't sleep when troubled and it seems so much more amplified at night when you are alone with your thoughts. Saying a prayer and putting it in the hands of the
Lord offers a bit of relief. Take care of yourself!
May get a tree today...no one seems interested this year ( that's a first)
I guess I'm the only sentimental kid left in this house!
Enjoy your Sunday all!!!!

Good morning!
I have no idea what Bosco is...used to like Ovaltine. Growing up we had Milo. Which is like Ovantine, I think. I remember eating right out of jars with a spoon, too.

Not sure about dinner yet. I'll think about it after church.

Bosco's a chocolate syrup, good for milk, topping ice cream, and the occasional swig right from the bottle

Burdell I agree-the taste and crunchiness is different (I too use to spoon it from jar to mouth).

Tonight it's leftovers from the hunk of beef, mashed for Mr. L. Have an urge for pizza tho-that may be tomorrow.
