Good morning all my foodie friends! I hope everyone is well-fed and warm!

Tonight will be spaghetti for sure. Got all the necessary ingredients yesterday and today I will cook up several dinners worth of sauce and freeze it for future dinners.

Someone asked what kind of pork I used for my pulled pork--it was a nice big pork butt that I cooked all day. Actually DH did that one with all sorts of yummy spices and it was wonderful.

Day 34 no smoking and down to a weaker patch. I"m starting to have some sleep problems but am not sure if it's related to the no smoking or patches. It's not dreams now it's waking up at all hours of the night. I have read where it does happen from stopping smoking sometimes. I'll be happy when this is all over and done! I am so tired today. Been up pretty much since 2:00am!

Good morning everyone. We are supposed to have a "warmer" sunny day today. Woo hoo. I can feel it. Spring is just around the corner.

I haven't a clue about dinner. We are going grocery shopping and that is like going to the toy store for me.

Amber- Thanks for posting that recipe again and Jaxson thanks for reminding us to drain the veggies.

DezertGirl- That is so cool that you are using your fire to heat and cook. Very economical and it's sounds delicious.

Lacey- I am so glad you had a nice night out.

MBW- Have a great time tonight.

cyn- I am so sorry you got up so early. I think you might need a nap soon.

Leftovers! My fridge is ready to burst with them all. It's good I don't have to cook since one of the kids is sick.

Morning all, tonight for dinner something with beef or pork. Hubby is out of town today and won't be home in time for dinner. He can fend for himself. Will have to peruse (sp) the cookbooks today to be inspired. Hope everyone stays warm.

Well, I feel like I have been away for so long..... I have missed you guys. Just got done paying some bills, driving Diva to school, doing my morning cleaning.... and now I have a little down time and I want to stop in and CATCH UP!

Last night was Karate and I did the Mac and Cheese which since I switched brands has gone over well with Diva. I told her it was a lot healthier and now she will eat it... what ever works. Who knows if it really is.... all I know is that it is organic and in my mind not full of chemicals... so what ever. More healthy I told her.... she ate it... SUCCESS....

Tonight I have some chicken I will pound thin and mushrooms.... wine.... garlic...a little onion.... organic chicken broth.... I think I will pull something together will those over some whole wheat pasta.... who knows what I will call it or if it already something by name but it sounds good. And the kids usual Broc of COURSE! LOL..... The Chatterbox asked where it was last night! LOL..... can't go a night without it it seems. A salad for me... I can't go a night without a salad...

Today I think I am keeping it a low key day.... maybe just clean a tad... but that can get out of hand with me if I am housebound... it is just a gloomy day here. I don't feel like heading out. I will hop on in a bit and see how you are all enjoying your afternoon. I am going to spend some time with the Chatterbox while I have her home from Prek.....

Good morning, folks.

Still a bit under the weather but back at work. Last night's spaghetti was great, but I don't feel up to much cooking tonight. I have those pork chops brining since yesterday... So maybe we'll have pork chops with hot buttered toast and simple broccoli steamed in microwave.

Thank you! Oh, we don't need the fireplace for heat...at least not at the moment...it's been in the 70s here!
But it is sure is handy for cooking adventures! We camp, therefore we can cook with untamed fire...
