Im also making Pork chops, i broil them with some homemade peach jam that my aunt makes. I sautee some onions in butter and olive oil, s&p and garlic, when browned add some honey, applecider vinegar and peach jam. Let thicken and serve over Pork. I saw a similar recipie on Rachel Ray but she used apricot jam. Good night.
Forgot to add I usually do the chops on the grill but to cold!

It's late but tonight I made calzones....one was Italian coldcuts.....hot ham, salami, pepperoni, mozzarella, provolone and swiss
The other was turkey, homemade stuffing and cranberry sauce....unfortunately though I added cranberry mustard and it almost ruined it.

And a salad

Good morning all!.....not sure yet as to what's for tonight. No fish from our boy. Everything they caught was to big to keep.( funny how fish and game always shows up when your having good luck) The guy kepthanging out and pulling out his tape measure when ever they landed a fish!! I think it was so early in the morning he had no one else to check on. They landed a 200lb black tip shark that took over 1 hour to bring in and it was 12 inches to big.
But the important thing is he a good time. So I'll have to see what's on tonights menu. Have to clean out the veggie garden this am. All the lettuce has bolted and I'll replace it with bush beans and tomatoes. Will have spinach and beet greens soon

Sounds like the kids had a great time even though they were unable to keep the fish. That is so odd, I always thought the fish had to be big enough not that they could be to big--especially salt water fish. Always learning something new here. I think tonight will be pork chops, applesauce, green beans and braised red potatoes. Lots to get done before I leave so will be in and out today!

Would you mind sharing the amounts you use to make this wonderful sounding dish?

Leaning towards chicken and dumplings tonight. Hopefully the last of winter comfort food.

They have very strict fishing regulations out here also and you are only allowed to catch a certain amount, size.

Guess because I did most of my ocean fishing in Baja I am not to up on fishing regulations. We usually go out on boats so the boat captain know the rules I suppose.
