I'm having a craving for meatloaf, so it could be that w/baked potato and fresh string (green) beans. It's a toss-up, tho, because we also bought some fresh tilapia, so I may bake that or, if it's nice and I can cajole DH into it, maybe we'll grill it.

Last night we had BBQ'd steaks which were marinated in Italian salad dressing, along with steamed broccoli and baked refrigerator biscuits.

Tonight we'll have chicken alfredo with garlic bread.

That should be more than our fix of cholesterol.

OK, scrap the roast beef sandwiches---don't have any more roast beef in the freezer. Guess I used the last of it when my grandaughter was here--ugh! I asked hubby what he wants for dinner hoping he's say "I'll BBQ something" but no, he said whatever you make is fine. Great! I have nothing defrosted and we had pasta last night! I am at a loss right now.

How about breakfast for dinner? Then again, this might not work if you're one of the good ones who made a nice breakfast this morning.

This always works great in my house, though, since I'm a "neglectful" wife/mother who rarely makes a real breakfast in the morning!

Cyn Miken is right. Cheese omelets and hasbrowns, toast. Do you have peppers? Italian bread? Fry up some onion, sliced peppers in olive oil, scramble some eggs and pour over-put on Italian bread.

Grilled cheese and soup?

I wish! I love breakfast for dinner...but sadly hubby thinks breakfast is for breakfast. Silly!! I'll be honest I think breakfast is good anytime and I love it for dinner. But thanks for the idea anyhow!

You guys are killing me---that all sounds so good. I just don't think hubby will go for it. Maybe I'll mention it just to be sure.

Last night we went to the Rockies game (we won! ) and stopped by an Argentine restuarant beforehand. We had some beef empandas that were to die for, and a pizza with chorizo, roasted red peppers, and jalapenos that was good too (but not great).

We need to go grocery shopping really badly, but maybe tomorrow! Tonight we are eating at our friends' house -- mussels, beef tenderloin and insalata caprese.
