Lacey, how is Mr. L feeling today? Looks like we are going to get some snow here finally. Tonight and tomorrow. That will be our once a year snow storm! Better run to the store for milk and bread!! Ha!

Let's see, inauguration dinner ingredients for skbs' Diva....

You could serve a salad featuring "Yes, we cantaloupe."

And then check to see if your grocery store has started carrying Ben & Jerry's latest flavor "Yes Pecan" and get that for dessert.

Of course she'll want "Barack-olli" for a vegetable.

Kinda drawing a blank for a main course.... hmmmm. Will go have some coffee to see if that starts the neurons firing any better and will report back.

ETA: Spouse suggests "Yes we cannelloni" for a main course!

Used the last of the frozen Bolognese sauce out of the freezer tonight. It's very satisfying to use prepared food I'd made weeks ago, stored away for dinners when I work and don't find the time or energy to make meals from scratch. It makes the hours spent preparing the large batches of sauce for future use well worth it. Otherwise, we'd probably end up getting take-out or eating out. And not getting nearly as much satisfaction and quality time together as a family.

The kids made a Caesar Salad because that's their favourite, and we also did a batch of homemade garlic bread as well.

Real nice.

Buon appetito!

Morning Cyn - he's feeling better today-we are increasing the meds again. Could've been the cheese on the pizza.

There is an entire thread here on the food forum that is about Goulash. It's called: What do you call goulash? I think you will find just about every way to cook it there! Sorry to hear about all the pipe problems---we had a few freeze but no broken pipes.

John, this was the recipe I copied off from the goulash thread: http://www.city-data.com/forum/1616479-post9.html

If you try it, be sure to let us know what you think!
