HawaiiLover care to share how you bake your nachos? I have tried them but the chips get soggy and the kids don't like them like that.

Jaxson - I'm sure mine aren't the best but we like them. I take 1 lb of ground beef, usually ground sirloin. Brown it and drain the grease off. Add 1 package of taco seasoning and water according to the directions on the package. The trick is that you must simmer this until all the water is absorbed. On a foil covered cookie sheet, place a layer of chips, top with meat, cover w/Mexican shredded cheese, diced jalapeno and bake in a 425 oven until cheese is melted. I find that making sure all the liquid is absorbed and baking it in a hot oven does the trick. I only put jalapenos on half because my DD doesn't like them. I like to dice them so that I don't get too much in one bite.

Hello dear foodie friends

I missed you a lot over the last days and had to work through so many great posts. DS was sick so I didn't have time or the nervs to check in. He's back to being healthy and fast asleep now.

Just left the kitchen... I cooked some potatoes, peas in a cream sauce and fried some minute steaks with red onion rings. Topped the steaks with a slice of cheese and let them grill in the oven for a few seconds.

Happy Monday!

Sounds good. How do you like to prepare your groundhog meat?

I usually just brown it, although sometimes it makes a good hamburger

Noma sounds like tomato soup with velveeta.
