Just back from dress try-on, taxes and stopped and got 3 8 oz lobsta tails, fettucine (fresh), fat free cream, hunk of parm reggiano all for tomorrow's anniversary dinner.

Elston-I've steamed whole lobsters but never cooked just tails-would you recommend baking or steaming?

I have never cooked anything but live lobsters.....are they in a package with instructions??? I havent seen just the tails for sale here. I like the sounds of the fettucini, cream and parm reggiano with the lobsters however, you must have something in mind. If I were going to use cooked lobster in a dish like an alfredo.....I believe I would steam it.

Was making a side of fettucine alfredo, I've read to bake at 400 for 8 min or steam. If they weren't on sale at a good price I'd really worry. LOL.

Debsi-will try after 41 yrs! Mr. L's not 100% yet and I have a seamstress appt at 5PM-so we'll come home, have a cocktail (or two) and cook.
