That recipe sounds like just one more way to totally ruin hummus.

I have nothing against hummus - with or without cheese. I just don't care much for it. Not that it's gross, or eeewwww. It's not something I like.

I realize there are many people in the world who eat and enjoy hummus, but feeling as I do about it, I'm hard-pressed to figure out how one would go about ruining it.

I just can't get into Hummus, it's sandy texture just doesn't agree with me at all.

Haven't tried hummus cheese before.
Pesto and sandwiches are great companions.

It took me a while to acquire my taste for hummus. When I first tried it I didn't like the texture at all. Now I love it. My favorite is roasted red pepper hummus deviled eggs. SO GOOD!

My favorite hummus story - I was trying to get a friend to try hummus - he was not a cultured eater - and when I described it, I just got a blank stare. My husband looks at him and says "dude it's bean dip". He tried it, he liked it!

Sometimes it takes a different perspective....but yeah, I vote no on trying to make it taste like cheese.

That's what finally got my dad to try it. He'd dismiss it as "crunchy granola hippie crap." Eventually we convinced him it was nothing more than Mediterranean bean dip he was willing to give it a shot. I don't think he loves it, but he'll eat it.

As to the OP, he sounds confused as to what hummus actually is. It has nothing to do with cheese.
