I am making a big pot of lentil soup ( a mix of channa and urid daal) and serving onion salad and chapatis with it. To drink lassi. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit
I use these ingredients for my red onion salad...
1 large red onion sliced thinly into rings
¼ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp cut mint or coriander leaves
black salt to taste
Stove top chicken bake, I added a can of green beans to it this time, waffle cut sweet potato fries ( I love the frozen seasoned ones from the Alexia brand).
I am not the OP but lava salt it's a less salty and more seasoned taste to it over kosher salt. It's hard to describe but it's tasty. I often use black lava or red clay salt. I also use a coarse naturally harvested sea salt for everything else. Usually dead sea or korean.
A homemade pizza made with a whole wheat pita bread, part skim milk mozzarella & ketchup, a pineapple nonfat strained Greek yogurt and a mug of tea with a teaspoon of sugar & a bit of skim milk.
I skipped lunch so ate an early dinner which included the best roast cauliflower I've ever tasted. I used frozen cauliflower (because it's about half the price of fresh, plus I can keep it on hand) and it was just as good as fresh.
Fried Ham, Cooked Cabbage, Pinto Beans, Boiled Potatoes, Corn Bread.
with Real Butter, Pickled Beets, Sliced Sweet Onions & a Tall Glass of Cold Milk.
Carrot Cake for Dessert with a Hot cup of Coffee.
Finished for the night...
