Sloppy Joe's, mac and cheese, peas. It's my husband's most favorite dinner, other than lasagna.

Today is our first "normal day" in about a week. I am going to roast a game hen, with a rice dressing; make cold slaw, and probably have snow peas. I do have to hit the store after church and buy a few groceries. I have been so busy canning the past few days I haven't done any weekly shopping.

smoked beef cheeks. Got these cheeks from walmart for under $4/lb.

it's a super tough piece of meat but after it comes off the smoker, it's the most tender and flavorful piece of meat I've ever had.

I think every piece of meat cooked in a smoker is awesome, no exceptions!! and so very easy, even spoiled brat enjoys smoking meats. Just stick them on and they pretty much do their thing. He checks them from time to time, might add a little more rub or sause, but pretty much they take care of theselves.
