I have an appointment with the spinal surgeon today, so I'll probably pick up some take out. Maybe Carrabba's or Johnny Carino's.

good luck and hope your weather has warmed up: we are at 2 degrees right now or were about an hour ago.

going to do ramen noodles with chicken and mushrooms plus green beans and probably cottage cheese and tomatoes. spoiled brat is still house sitting and the place hasn't even had water for over a day. He has the water dept there right now. he will come home for the day after the water problem is solved: glad there is only 1 more night of his being away from home. Yes, sometimes I would like to see him go forever, but then when he is gone more than a few hours I miss him. If I don't have him here I have no one to argue with; the dog is not very good at arguing back.

I am trying a new recipe out today that I found...
Mediterranean baked sweet potatoes with roasted chickpeas, garlic herb sauce and a tomato/parsley salad. For dessert 1/2 a pink grapefruit.

Tonight will be orange chicken with jasmine rice. I am going to try a Bird's Eye frozen vegetable thingy. I think it's Asian mixed? I have had no luck with this sort of thing in the past. I figured I would it one more chance.

I've seen a lot of meatloaf and meatball recipes that use a mixture of half ground beef and half ground sausage. I tried it with meatloaf last night. Didn't like it at all. Guess I'll just stick with my ol' T&T ground beef recipe.

Making a big pot of spaghetti sauce tonight. Not sure that's what we'll be having for dinner though. It's always better after it refrigerates overnight.

Have a beef pot roast cooking in our slow cooker now, with potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, celery and a little cayenne. Will be served with mashed potatoes this evening.
