The steak and the clams sounds so good.
We've decided on Mussels in a vodka cream sauce with linguine. Waldorf Salad.
I make up big batches of the vodka cream sauce and then freeze to save for later uses.
Took out 2 portions an hour ago.
This is the section where I feel happiest and feel like I have cyber friends so I just wanted to share that as a three-time breast cancer survivor, I had been having symptoms that were freaking me and my family out, I got the all clear at the hospital yesterday so I'm celebrating tonight:
a bottle (or two) of Veuve
oysters on the half shell
crab legs (that will dripping with a garlic butter sauce, I mean dripping)
a baked potato (loaded with sour cream, butter and chives)
no veggies allowed
hot apple pie with whipped cream
(I will hit the gym tomorrow morning)
We certainly are your friends, and while we may not technically be "family", we're WAY better!! If you don't like us, you can just ignore us - try putting an obnoxious relative on your "ignore list" - I did that once to a family member - the fallout was frightening. As was the relative, but I digress...

Was going to be a taco feast and then I remembered my husband plays a doubleheader tonight.
So - fridge buffet it is. We have leftover spaghetti, meatloaf, tuna salad, rotisserie chicken, sliced tomatoes, and cauliflower soup. Hopefully everything will be consumed!
