Emerald, I will be thinking of you tomorrow. I know that everything will go well.

Not much of a dinner for us tonight. DH has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and is in lots of pain, so he only wanted a fried egg and bacon sandwich. Sounded okay to me, so that is what I also had.
Thanks, my friend. I'll be thinking of your DH; I know how painful spinal stenosis is (MIL has it). I hope he's got a good back doctor.

That pup is adorable.

I guess I'll have leftover Ropa Vieja over rice. I can tell from the smells wafting up the stairs that Son stopped for Chick-Fil-A.

I'm making flour tortilla wraps with:

Leftover pork tenderloin, chopped
Muenster cheese
Romaine lettuce
Green olives, chopped

Side still tbd - maybe just a sliced garden tomato with salt and pepa.

Our DD is coming over as her hubby is working out of town. It is going to be a busy day; we are stopping at the chicken store and stocking up. For dinner we will have breaded chicken breasts, steamed beets and rice, plus a small salad. And yes, our wine.
