ended up being gifted tickets to the hockey game last minute last night, so dinner was a cochinita sandwich -- sour orange marinated pulled pork with pickled red onions -- and a brewski. My team lost; no puck luck whatsoever. but it was a really good sandwich.

Oh Gosh, that looks so good!!!!

Well last night didn't turn out to be even close to what I had planned, so who knows? I always make a menu, but I do not always stick to it: this looks like one of those weeks. I am planning on having talapia, asparagus. potatoes for spoiled brat and probably a salad but God only knows if I will end up having it?

Tonight's dinner will be turkey meatloaf, crusty baked shells & cauliflower from Cooking for Jeffrey, fresh green beans, and sautéed mushrooms to either top the green beans or the meatloaf.

I made Hungarian Goulash last night which turned out wonderful. Hadn't had that since I was young, but saw the recipe on-line. It brought back wonderful memories of when my mom made it.

Last night was spaghetti and meatballs. It came out so fantastic, that I'm going back to making it that way (no jar sauce as a base, but just crushed tomatoes, onions and herbs.)

Tonight we will have the leftover corned beef and cabbage. I think I'll make some rice pudding too.

I'm craving beef so it looks like cheeseburger with sauteed onions and a side salad for me. Hamburger and fries for DH.
