I found sub rolls and ground beef in the freezer. I'm pretty sure I have lettuce and a tomato I need to use up. This means homemade cheeseburger subs for dinner tonight.

just checked out weather for today: I took a whole chicken out last night so we are having Chicken, obviously but how is another story. We had planned on smoking it, but with the treat of pretty hard rain, starting late this morning, it is more likely the chicken will meet the water and spices in the crock pot. I do know we are having fruit salad for sure and a mixture of turnips, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. I think I am going to mash them with some fresh basil and a lot of fattening butter.
