Tonight palak paneer made from baby spinach puree and paneer/cheese cubes cooked with garlic,ginger,onions,tomatoes and with a bit of cream. Served with cilantro chapatis,homemade plain yogurt,onion rings and green chili. To drink lassi or lemon water. For dessert green grapes or leftover cantaloupe melon.
I bought a cheese curd kit, can't find them anywhere here.

I forgot to take something out of the freezer this morning so I may suggest to H to try the new Jamaican restaurant that recently opened. All I can think of is oxtail stew and rice with pigeon peas right now...
Think I will do another quesadilla tonight!! It was really good last night and about an inch thick.

Yes, gentlearts, you have a great memory! I am also officiating the wedding. Almrausch, thanks for your best wishes and encouragement.
I am keeping it simple: shrimp shots (in mini-shot glasses with cocktail sauce and a sprig of parsley) surrounding a gigantic martini glass filled with lemon wedges; 2 bread bowls filled with pimento cheese (Southern style) surrounded by mini-baguettes; a watermelon carved into a basket and filled with various fruits along with skewers of fruit; 2 fruit dips) and lastly tortilla pinwheels (some with turkey and bacon, with thinly sliced smoked salmon and cucumbers; and roast beef with horseradish and scallions; all of these will have a thin layer of cream cheese spread on the tortillas first). There will be Sunrise punch, coffee and tea.
The caterers will do the wedding luncheon and set out the champagne later. We have a cupcake tower instead of a wedding cake. If I haven't passed out from fatigue, I will have a cocktail or 4 and enjoy myself!
nmnita, I am glad to hear that your husband is going to be released! The pot roast dinner sounds like the perfect meal for his homecoming dinner. It is kind and generous of you to provide dinner for a church member too.
damn doctor did not release him and has no real reason to keep him. Even the business office thought he was going to be released, so did the PT and the nurse. This is what you get when you have to take pot luck for your doctor. Needless to say, we are both furious.
Tonight will be grilled chicken sausages, green salad made with wonderful leaf lettuce from the farmers' market, and the peach cobbler i just took out of the oven.
