I've been trying out some new vegetarian recipes this week. Last night I made a Creamy Spinach Tomato Tortellini with fresh Italian bread. It was very good but next time I'll cut the recipe in half - it made enough for 6 people. https://www.cookingclassy.com/creamy...to-tortellini/

I have fixed a couple of dinners we have really enjoyed this week, as well as a tortilla roll up for breakfast last Sunday morning. I don't know which would be considered my favorite. Maybe it was the Bloody Mary spoiled brat fixed for us that made the breakfast (actually brunch) so good. It was Sunday, after church.

Best thing I've had all week was this chicken pie I made tonight, but, as I often do, I put too much buttermilk in the crust and it's not as crispy as I would like. Wish I would quit doing that. Also, I used unsalted butter in the crust and it really needed the salted butter. Still the best thing I've had all week. Warm and savory.

I made pork cube steak this week. It’s not something that is in the store very often, but it was a nice change...mashed potatoes, apple sauce and a veg.

The one with the biggest pile of French fries. And that will be tonight. It's been one of those weeks.
