A no cook night, dinner out at an Indian restaurant. started with a Greek Salad and the entree was Lamb Vindaloo with fluffy rice, garlic naan and a glass of California Cab!
A much too large plate of spaghetti with garlic & mushroom sauce and 8 Italian-style meatballs. As a side dish I also had several Savory Garlic Knots (rolls) from Neighborhood Market. Iced tea to drink.
We had our Back to School in the car picnic tonight.
This has been a family tradition for us since our kids were school age. Every year on the night before school starts we get some sort of fast food, eat in the car, and discuss what we think the new school year would be like.
Now it is just Hubs and I. We order from the corner diner and do it the night before In-service begins. This year two of our grands joined us via face time.
Linguiça sausage, baked potato with butter and sour cream, Simply Limeade.
DH got me a new mini tub of Magnum, a raspberry. I would very much like to have had some but unfortunately, I was too full. Had a late snack of chips and dip with a glass of the Limeade.
I made a fish chowder - lots of garlic,scallions,chopped potatoes,shrimp and some white and smoked fish.
With toasted flatbread.
