Been wanting to ask this for awhile now.
Has anyone here ever eaten at Shopsins?

Shopsins - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I enjoy the I Like Killing Flies documentary.

You had to show that to me, didn't you? Now I won't rest until I go over there and get a Slutty Cake.

I'm roasting some baby backs for dinner tonight...

Anyone have favorite seasonings?

I'm thinking garlic and sage, and bay leaf are a must - with an onion or two thrown in.

I see that the owner/chef has a book that has very good reviews on Amazon. Apparently he also makes "slutty pancakes" ... what the heck are those?

The fillings are probably very "loose"

Ew.

I googled it.

Slutty Cakes

They're pancakes filled with a mixture of peanut butter and pumpkin puree, which has the texture of a Reese's peanut butter cup, according to Kenny Shopsin's daughter and creator of the dish.

Food "jags", okay now this is strange, I live alone now, so the other day I am at the store, and buy some hot dogs, usually I like these for a quick lunch or dinner. I get home, put them in the fridge, and for some reason, just don't want to eat them. So I will probably end up throwing them out. Strange...like I see a food at the store that looks good, I buy it, and never eat it.

I'm sure they will stay good for a long time. Check the sell by date. Maybe you will get another hot dog craving.
