Maybe we could work a little Bourbon into that very good advice
I made something new tonight...grilled sweet plantains..omg they were awesome!
I sauteed them in a little bit of butter for about 10 min..then rolled them in brown sugar..threw them on the grill (charcoal of course)and dabbed them in vanilla extract and cinnamon..then when they were done drizzled them in a tiny bit of honey to finish them off
they weren't as sweet as you'd think..perfect combination..I highly recommend them!!
and you can't beat that 2 of the big plantains were $1 for 2 of them..cheap dessert
Howdy foodies. We had bean & cheese burrritos with strawberry shortcake for dessert.
Been meaning to ask you if any of you have used that Cool Whip in a can? We don't care for it to much it shrinks after you spray it on whatever you want it on. There is no "whipped topping" flavor to it really. Kids said the only thing it is good for is spraying directly in your mouth, I passed on trying it that way.

Jaxson I opt for the real stuff whipped with beaters just like nature intended. I know it is almost time for breakfast but I'm ahead of the game thinking about dinner. Looks like beef stroganoff made with fresh pasta instead of the dried out stuff. I think it would go well with pickled beets and asparagus...
I have never heard of this soup how did you make it. Of course you know when pork chops are mentioned I perk up.
Nomad I tend to prefer real whipped cream as well but this was something new blasted on the TV. It hooked my kids they wanted to try it in a can. It is almost like it "melts" after it is sprayed then disppears. Hey maybe that is a new weight control product!
