I had a burger out with a friend for lunch so ate a light dinner frozen from Trader Joe (actually very filling though) of curried garbanzo beans in tomato sauce.

Ziti with meat sauce tonight. Tomorrow I am going to make a new recipe. I don't really care which one since I have hundreds that I want to try. My recipes are getting old and starting to collect dust, lol. It's time to get adventurous and finally make something new.

The first chili of the season is simmering in the pot and it smells great! Gonna be in the low 50's tonight. I've got to get some brown rice. Last year I had some cooked and left over that I added to a pot of chili and the result was surprising. The kernels plumped up and looked like little beans, and they added a hearty flavor and texture to this favorite dish.

Dinner plans changed today. Friends decided to get together for dinner at one of their houses so we didn't get to go out for seafood. So tomorrow it's out again Sounds good to me

Dinner tonight was good........penne pasta, meatballs and sausage and the best part was sharing it with good friends (the wine and champagne wasn't bad either
