Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans with carrots and zucchini, salad, and dinner rolls with honey butter. If you have a Costco near you, try the sweet dinner rolls. They are excellent and huge.
For early dinner, I made a cheeseburger with grilled onions and fit it into 2 pieces of whole-grain (low- carb) pita bread. Much more flavorful than a bun and went well with the cheeseburger.
Chicken poppers and a tomato and cucumber salad. I know...........I made this not to long ago but got some unexpected company and by the time they left I didin't feel like slaving in the kitchen. HA!
skewered me some steak, pepper, onion, pinapple on a stick!
Never tried to do shishkabob before but looks like what the sell in the store~ for a lot more than I got in it!
Not sure what to have with it~ does baked potato and green beans work?
or maybe just a side salad~with my usual overdoing it!
I believe it's referred to as shish when it's lamb. Otherwise you'd just call it steak kabob, chicken kabob, shrimp kabob, etc. No matter what you call it, I'm on my way to have some with you! I take mine rare! lol
Bakies and green beans sound great as does rice pilaf and green beans.
I could have a side salad every night of the week and not grow tired of it.
