I had a 12 lb. turkey in the freezer and decided to cook it to make room. Defrosted it earlier this week and put it in brine yesterday morning so it is ready to cook today.
Well I can hardly bear to look at this thread since we're on Nutrisystem, but in addition to our "sumptuous", plastic encased entree, I made roasted vegetables which were great. Eggplant, tomatoes, carrots, brussels sprouts, onions, mushrooms and broccoli tossed with a little olive oil and roasted at 450 for about 30 mins.
We had haddock with homemade tartar sauce, baked potatoes, steamed carrots and applesauce. Coconut cream pie for dessert.
