Meatloaf, potatoes & carrots cooked around it. Tossed salad and applesauce rounded out the meal. While the meatloaf was baking I made some Mexican wedding cake cookies so that was bedtime snacks.

Not sure yet...leaning towards a baked potato with a taco meat topping along with tomatoes, onion and cheese.

Another hot day in Perth, so barbeque's the way to go. Better than suffering in a hot kitchen.

I marinated some skinless, boneless chicken thighs in lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, hot sauce and white wine. DH barbequed those. Before that, he grilled some red peppers. And I had made a small cannellini bean salad.

Since we are in for a nasty weekend, it's comfort food all the way. On tonight's menu are ground chuck patties with gravy and mushrooms, steamed yellow squash, green salad, Texas Toast and chocolate cake.
