AHS was prepared to cover the warranty parts, but their contractor has to do the whole job. AHS Claim they are covering parts and labor, but in reality you are up charged on everything else associated with the job. The catch.......warranty covers replaceable parts but upgrades are not covered. HVAC systems change every year to new more efficient systems. Saving money to replace an aging system is better than repairing a less efficient older system.

I will not renew my policy with AHS when it ends. I had not filed any claims in 3 years, and when I did file a claim the warrantied repair was only $100 cheaper than quotes without warranty. Also, nobody likes to give a quote in the industry because they want to get as much as they can for each part. One guy may be able to get the replacement unit for $500, but the
