liberals are very angry and vindictive people. you just have to accept that they will say obnoxious things like that if you want to have a discussion with them where you dont agree with everything they say.
Being frugal is great. However, that should not be the means to stability.
The means to financial stability should be having much more money than you really need. Sounds crass but it's the truth.
