Default West Coast to East Coast.

I was wondering if anyone moved back East from the West Coast or anywhere that you came from for that matter....how was it? Did you like it? Did you miss being in the scenic west? Were you glad to be home?

Grew up in California, traveled a bit when I was younger, husband lost job in Cal so moved to NY last year.(sorry this is so abbrev. but I have told the story so many times I cannot bear to reapeat the whole thing allover again) we are moving back in a few weeks. My kids(16,12,and 5 ) are very happy. My 5 yr old keeps saying she is on vacation. We were at a hotel last week and she was chatting up a dad in the pool and she said "we are on a vacation in NY and now we are taking another vacation to a hotel in Atlantic city"LOL I really cannot wait to get back to sun. People here are already talking about fall and there was a frost warning in another county last night. Back home in Sacramento it was 101 a couple of days ago. I also miss the hospitality of California and really will not miss it here. ONe thing I am really looking forward to is toilet seat covers. No body has them here,At home even friggin Target has them. Geeez.....
