i don't agree with any of those listed above, especially orlando & miami. why would anyone really want to visit orlando? it's the most pathetic city in the US, only famous because of a couple overhyped theme parks, and the culture is non-existant, just a bunch of tourists, yankees and that's about it. same goes for miami, although it does have a more interesting culture, but i still wouldn't say it'd be anywhere NEAR my list.

oh, and regarding the chicago/phoenix thing, i put them BOTH on my list.

Well, Arizona is on my list. Might as well drop in on Phoenix while I'm out there. I'm far more inclined to stay north and visit Flagstaff though.

Flagstaff itself is semi-decent, but the surroundings are far nicer. Plus, youre a short drive from Sedona, the most scenic spot in AZ, make sure you hit that too. Oh, and be sure to head out into the pines around Flagstaff in the early morning dew, its the most amazing smell youve ever experienced. Trust me. When you go to PHX, dont go comparing it to Chicago, theyre nothing alike. Expect a larger Albuquerque and you might like it.

I agree with your world list except Cancun! I've never been, but from what I hear, it's just a bunch of huge American resorts sprawling along the coast. Some city!

You can say that again. I've always said that Chicago has more character, but most of it is nothing but a small New York. And while its residents take pride in that, they should know that's not always a good thing.

I'm surprised to see so many of the same cities over and over. It's silly. Seems like most posters are picking their cities off of the television.
