As much as I hate to admit, that's the one thing I can agree with dc finest about.. Capris & club music can be found in abundance in both cities.
Yeah that club music is kinda popular in Philly (the younger AA crowd) but "capris", gtfo of hea with that, no one wears capris in Philly. Now in the summer time you will see people wearing cargo shorts but that's it.

U can deny Capris all u want, but they are definitely popular in philly.
My mother, who is from SC, would sometimes have me go and get neckbones, hog maws, chicken gizzards and she used to clean chitterlings and get pickled pigs feet. I wasn't into any of it though. I do eat some swine(sausage and bacon) once in a while, but it's at a minimum. I'll kill some turkey bacon though.
The only folks (who are related to me) who eat that those visceral organs that I know of are my grandparents on one side of my family, I just can't bring myself to eat that.
Soul food to me is: mac & cheese, mashed potatoes (with gravy), greens, cornbreads/rolls, fried chicken, yams, string beans, salisbury steak, turkey & dressing, etc

I don't know how u r unaware of what's popular in ur city. Capris and Timberland field boots are popular in philly, unless everybody decided to wear it when i was there...
I know that u try like Hell to make philly seem just like NYC, but sorry to burst ur bubble, its a lot like that little southern town called Baltimore.
