Can we all agree that Ohio's slogan should be "Welcome to Ohio, where it is Tuesday everyday" and let this thread die?

Come on Ohio is not the nothing state. Ohio is more like the Monday state. You know like when you wake up early Monday morning and think "oh f$#@ its Monday". Thats how I feel every time I get off the plane to visit some family member that has failed to escape Ohio.

Nope, because it's Nevada. Has anyone on this thread ever driven across Nevada? There's NOTHING there. Ohio has three major cities and several medium sized cities, all with something to do. Nevada has Las Vegas and....Reno. That's it.

It takes more than just Cities to make a State interesting.

Yup, like things to do. Ohio has that in spades, Nevada doesn't. It's not a novel thought process.

Actually Nevada has quite a lot to do. I guess you don't have the "thought process" to figure that out though.

I too like at least something in all states I have visited. For me, that number is 38 and counting. That said, there are certainly states where the cons outweighed the pros. Some states impressed me more than I expected (Wisconsin and Iowa for example) while others were more "meh" based on what I expected (Colorado for example)....I guess I am just not a mountain person and the lack of moisture was very hard on my lungs. Still others are so uninteresting to me that I have no desire to visit (Oklahoma...can't imagine liking a state with all red voting counties).

Maryland and Virginia are important states lol, especially Virginia.

Virginia has the Pentagon and has more military installations than any other state.
Maryland is always ranked in the richest states category which some of the country's richest suburbs and educated people....ditto Virginia.

Baltimore is a major east coast port city.

Not to mention both states are closely affiliated with D.C.
