Omaha - used to be (still think it is) highest number of millionaire per capita and also the world's richest (or one) of men. Take that set of citizens and then compare with the balance of the citizens and that's a pretty big gap.

If a city has a few billionaires and everyone else is doing OK, that city does not have that big of an income gap.
New Orleans has an income gap. It is a wealthy city, but a majority are poor and the middle class is sparse.
Omaha does not have an income gap.
New York. Median household incomes range from $9,000 to $190,000.
how does someone live on $9,000? That's sad.
