I think cars have had a huge influence on the American way of life. Perhaps, that's why someone voted for Detroit.

That's what I thought at first as well, but haven't a lot of the car factories in Detroit closed down?

I hope that voter comes back, because I am pretty curious.

Yeah, a lot of the factories have closed, but overall the city still had a pretty significant influence on the country.

Or perhaps that poster was just a big Motown fan?
