That is quite an impressive building, will really make Philadelphia's skyline unique. Must admit I wouldn't have been able to pick the current skyline out of an unlabeled line up.
Has a nice toothpick for King Kong if he comes to Philly on his return instead of Manhattan.
blahblahblahblahblahblahblahblah...it's all the same crap coming from numbrock. He doesn't know what else to do, so he tries to slam a bigger, better, wealthier city so he feels less embarassed about his dying city. That sums him up quite nicely...
Atlanta compared to Philadelphia
Bigger? No
Philadlephia population 1,517,550
Atlanta population 486,411
Better? No
Philadelphia has better nightlife, culture, architecture, museums,galleries,restaurant/night clubs ,vibrancy, universities, skyline.
but Houston is not losing population. i could understand your argument if people were fleeing Houston but it seems like the population is growing and the job growth is one of the highest in the country. unless something drastic happens to the Houston economy I see no reason why any metro will pass it up anytime soon. i honestly don't think Atlanta will pass any of those metros on the poll. not because of anything negative having to do with Atlanta, just because the metros on the poll have nothing wrong with them that would make them decline anytime soon.
Something drastic has happened like Hurricane IKE remember and some of yalls population got lost.
Atlanta is currently the 9th largest metro with a population of about 5.2 million. Which of the above metros do you think Atlanta could surpass? I think it could move up to 4th or 5th and rival Dallas and Houstons metros, but I don't think it could ever overtake Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York City.
Atlanta i think can't rival Dallas/Fort Worth because we are growing to fast and and lots of jobs are coming and the Dallas/Fort Worth is becoming a region and we are spreading to the country cities making them urban.Atlanta probley could rival Houston but it would be a few more long years.
